Entry level sales in Boise, described honestly.
This is the role almost everyone here starts in: representing a brand in person, around Boise, with a team. No experience needed. Here is what the work is, what the training is, where it leads, and the parts people find hard.
What you would actually be doing.
A brand hires us to win customers. We learn their offer properly, then a team goes out and has real conversations about it with the people who might genuinely buy it. As a brand representative, you are one of those people. You explain something clearly, you answer the questions honestly, and you help someone decide.
The work happens around Boise and the wider Treasure Valley, in the territories that suit the campaign, at the hours people are actually available. You are out with a team, not dropped somewhere alone with a script and a target.
No sales experience is required, and none is expected. Attitude is the thing we hire for, because the skills are teachable and we teach them every day.
Before the fieldThe parts to be clear about first.
It is face to face. Not remote, not a call centre, not a desk. You are on your feet, out of the office for most of the day, talking to people who were not expecting you. Some are glad you turned up. Most will give you a minute if you are worth a minute. Some say no before you finish a sentence, and the actual skill is not carrying that into the next conversation, because a no is almost never about you.
It is performance based. What you produce is visible, to you and to everyone else, and it affects what you earn. We are not going to print a pay figure on a web page, because the honest answer depends on the campaign and a structure deserves more than a headline number stripped of context. What we will do is walk you through the whole thing out loud, in real numbers, in your first conversation, before you are asked to decide anything at all. Any employer who will not do that has told you something useful about themselves, and that includes us.
We put this up front because the wrong fit costs you more than it costs us. If you are weighing us against the other adverts open in your other tabs, we wrote a guide to telling the good entry level sales jobs apart, and every question in it works on us too. If what you are really trying to work out is whether this company is what it says it is, that one is answered on a page of its own.
Four things that matter more than a resume.
You are fine with people
Not in a performing way. You can start a conversation with a stranger and read whether this is a good moment for them, which is most of the job.
You take coaching
Feedback here is same day and specific. It feels strange for about a fortnight, then it becomes the thing you rely on to get better fast.
You keep showing up
Consistency beats natural talent in this work. A steady week outproduces a brilliant morning followed by three quiet ones.
You want to be measured
Your results are open. If that reads as fairness rather than pressure, you will probably like it here. If it reads as pressure, be honest with yourself now.
Four parts to it.
Mornings start together
Everyone is in before the field. The meeting is short and it has one job: make sure you can explain what you are carrying, who it is for, and the honest answer to the questions you will get. Nobody goes out to improvise.
The middle is the actual job
Out, on your feet, with a team, having conversations with people who were not expecting you. This is where the hours go, and it is the part that makes you good at something most people never learn.
Coaching while it still helps
If something is not landing, you hear it the same day from someone who was standing there, not at a review in three months. When something works, the whole team has it by tomorrow morning.
The end is numbers
You will know what you produced, and so will everybody else. That is not there to shame anyone. It is there so nobody has to guess where they stand or wonder whether the effort got noticed.
The trackLearn it, teach it, lead it.
Entry level here is a starting point with a route out of it. Once the fundamentals are solid the work is yours to run, and the first real step up is training somebody else. If you can take a new person and make them competent, you have the skill every organisation is short of. Running a team comes after that.
Promotion is decided by performance rather than tenure, and leadership is filled from inside. That is half principle and half self interest, because someone who has done the work coaches it better than someone who has only read about it.
The careers page sets out all four stages, and about Iron Bloom Collective explains why a sales firm is built this way in the first place.
Two minutes, no resume required yet.
Tell us who you are, how to reach you, and mention that you are asking about the entry level role. A person reads it and you get a reply within one business day. If you would rather ask questions before you apply, call (986) 867-2969, email careers@ironbloomcollective.com, or come to the office at 8783 W Hackamore Dr, Ste 8, Boise, ID 83709, open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. The questions page answers most of what people ask before they apply, and nobody here minds the ones it does not cover.
