Spirit week at the Boise office: western day, twin day and pink day

Seven Iron Bloom team members on the office couches for western day, several in cowboy hats and plaid shirts, smiling at the camera

A good team is easier to join when you can see it. So here is a look at spirit week at the Boise office, which the team held in September.

What happened

Over a few days, the team dressed up around a theme each day and gathered in the office. There was a western day, with cowboy hats and plaid shirts, and a twin day, with matching outfits. There was a pink day, with most of the team wearing pink, peace signs and a heart made with two hands. And there was a raffle, with prizes and some very happy winners.

None of it was complicated. Everyone showed up, got into the theme and laughed together. You can see the photos on our working here page.

A closer look at the days

Western day brought a room full of cowboy hats and plaid shirts, with the team gathered on the office couches for a group photo. Twin day was matched outfits: two teammates in matching white tees and black trousers, arms crossed and smiling. Pink day had most of the team in pink, with peace signs, a thumbs up and a heart made from two hands. The raffle ended with five winners in the office holding up their prizes.

You can tell a lot about a team from how it looks in photos like these. People are close together, relaxed and laughing, and nobody is standing off to the side. That is the kind of room many people hope to walk into on a first day.

Why days like this matter on a field team

Our work is in person and active. Teams meet at the office each morning and head out together. A group that does that every day gets to know each other well.

A fun week does not replace the work. What it does is add something to the days around it. When people enjoy being around each other, they are quicker to share what is working, quicker to ask for help, and more willing to coach each other in the moment. Feedback that is delivered between friends tends to be heard.

That matters for a new person. Starting a role where you will be coached daily is easier when you feel welcome in the room. Spirit week is one of the ways the team gets to know each other beyond the numbers at the end of the day.

What a new person will find

If you join us, you start beside someone experienced, you learn the brand you are representing before you speak for it, and you are coached on the same day rather than at a review three months later. You can read the details in our walk through a day in the field and our guide to your first thirty days.

You will also find a team that likes spending time together. Some days that is a western hat. Some days it is a good raffle win. Most days it is the person next to you asking how your last conversation went and telling you one thing to try next.

Who this suits

This job suits people who want to get good at something difficult, in person, next to others chasing the same thing. If you want a workplace where the day starts together and the team celebrates together, this is a place to look. We hire for attitude and train the skills, so no sales experience is needed.
